Preseason Training kicks off this Wed night at Sanderson Oval Sanderson Middle school at 6.15 pm
All players new and old are encouraged to attend -
Academy training will be on the same night and 15-20 year olds both male and female are welcome to train in the No More Campaign academy along side the senior players.
Please bring a water bottle, runners and or boots

Training
Training has been suspended until further notification for all teams at Nightcliff Dragons
A directive published by the NRL /NRLNT to suspend training until May due to Covid-19 virus
All junior teams and senior teams have been adhering to the directive -
Senior players can contact the coaching staff for further information and Juniors can either contact the committee or their individual coaches or the committee for further notices.
The club will stay in touch with all our supporters to the latest re training and playing

Season 2020
Senior Mens training nights now Tuesday and Thursday Sanderson Middle School Matthews Road Wulagi at 6pm
Sanderson Middle School will be the training venue for Senior Men A, B and Under 18 starting tomorrow at 6pm - will continue on these nights for the remainder of the season
Junior teams from Under 6 - Under 10 also train on Tuesday and Thursday.
Internationals Under 11- Under 16 train on Monday and Wednesday at Sanderson Oval 5pm.
Womens team train Monday and Wednesday from 6pm

Up the Dragons Bust Em Up

Sunday March 1st Dragons will be holding a Social Fun day at the Beach Volley venue in Winnellie 29 Benison Road commencing at 10.30am
Everyone will be divided into teams that may well be switched around during the morning - a BBQ will be on and the bar will open at 12 noon - there will be plenty of water and soft drink available as well
The Bo De la Cruz Youth girls academy and the Chris Smith Youth boys academy will join forces to take on the seniors both women and men - all academy players are encouraged to attend and on arrival will get their academy training singlets.
All players and supporters are encouraged to head-on down to Winnellie have a bit of fun and get to meet the new coaches and committee members and new players
Michael Freeman has been appointed as the Under 18 coach for 2020 season - a player who has led by example in his junior years - he will have a ton of support from the players and other coaching staff and will be guided through his first year of coaching by Dragons Junior Coaching director Stephen Nibbs
Karzi Williams who was injured during the finals last season has put her hand up to coach the under 17 girls

Karzi is super excited to have the role - we need all youth girls to start coming to training and join in the newly formed Bo De La Cruz youth girls academy - get your fitness before the season starts
Beach volley ball is just one of the planned bonding sessions the club has in mind for training with a difference - we will advise when and where however keep March 1st free
All players senior men and women players are encouraged to attend
Guided by new coaches Reg Rose A Grade, Willie May Reserve Grade and Baz Lewis will again take the womens team for season 2020.
The “Bo Dela Cruz” girls Youth academy will commence their 8-10 week program with the help of Australian Jillaroo capped player Tracey Thompson with Bo Dela Cruz there to guide the girls in their first training as a group
The Chris Smith Youth Boys academy will also commence for the second year running after a very successful pre season in 2019
A club BBQ will take place after the training run to allow all players to mix and meet
