CLUB HISTORY

Throughout our history, the Nightcliff Dragons have experienced various levels of success, with numerous finals appearances and championships. However, the true essence of our club lies in the connections and friendships that have been forged over the years. These bonds are the heart and soul of the Nightcliff Dragons, creating a community that celebrates both triumphs and challenges together.

  • Nightcliff Dragon first competition

    The premiership competition commenced on Sunday 18/11/62 and was held over 14 rounds, with the last minor round match held on Sunday 17/3/63

  • This competition commenced on Sunday 1/12/1963 and was held over 5 rounds with the last minor round match held on Sunday 5/1/64 .

    The season was shortened to accommodate the transition from the wet season to the dry season.
